A Spyglass for Doing Good!

Gather supplies. You will need yarn or string, a paper towel roll, a hole
punch, tape and one piece of construction paper (any color).

Place paper towel roll on construction paper and roll paper around it. (the
paper will be longer than the tube but that is ok!) Tape into place.

On one end of paper towel roll, punch two holes (opposite of each other).
Tie string into holes, making sure you have cut it long enough to wear around neck)

Photo 4 – Finished product! Now your little pirate can dress up and perform
random acts of kindness at home or out and about!

Our Pirate Family

This week you will make a pirate from paper towel tubes cut in different heights. Let each member of the family make a pirate version of themselves and talk about how each of them is a part of God's family.

Gather supplies. You will need several paper towel and toilet paper rolls (enough to be your
whole family), felt, googly eyes, construction paper, scissors, glue, markers. (You can use whatever
supplies you have around your house to make the pirates!) We made one as an example to show you how to do it!

Cut a t-shirt out of any color felt, fabric or construction paper.

Out of black construction paper, cut out a hat and draw a pirate emblem
on it with white crayon.

Draw a face on the toilet paper tube. Use googly eyes, etc. for whatever you want your face to
look like! Let each child make a pirate that looks like them! Parents make one, too, so you have one of each family member.

Finished pirate.

God Loves Me All the Time!

Gather supplies. You will need a paper plate, a marker, glue and some
magazines, grocery flyers, or anything you can find to cut numbers off of!

Write numbers on a paper plate to resemble a clock.

Go on a number hunt around your house and have your child find
numbers 1-12. Glue the numbers to the paper plate. (you could even have them glue
pictures of things you do at different times of the day instead of the number…ex.
12:00 – a picture of kids eating lunch)

The Treasure Hunter!

Gather supplies. You will need large piece of paper, washable paint,
paintbrush, markers, scissors, photo of your child (large enough for the head to be
glued to the body on the paper and your child (to paint hands and feet) and glue
(not pictured).

Cut out head from your photograph. Glue towards top of paper.

Paint hands and feet(one at a time) and place on paper where
hands and feet would go.

Draw in body with markers. You can make it into a pirate or just a regular
drawing!
